About
Nicole Rosanwo was born in Boston, Massachusetts to her mother Stephanie Davenport and father Kunle Rosanwo. She and her family moved from Boston to Alpharetta, Georgia when Nicole was four years old. Always an active child, she played a number of sports and became heavily involved with competitive AAU basketball. She ran cross-country, went to a summer camp to create video games, and took guitar lessons— having a love for all music (especially jazz); she sketched, loved cooking, and would usually be found with a book in her hand.
Always a lover of storytelling whether in novels, movies, or television, Nicole developed her love for acting during high school and participated in a senior year sketch put on as a celebration of the time her school mates had spent together. She moved to Orange, California to attend Chapman University and begin pursuing her artistic endeavors further. Nicole began auditioning for student films, landing lead roles in student projects and continued to work on her craft at Anthony Meindl’s Acting Studio in Los Angeles, California. She performed in Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop (AMAW) Annual Fall Comedy Showcase "Super All American Comedy Get Together" in 2016 and the AMAW Annual Summer Comedy Showcase --"Welcome to Hollywood" in 2017.
Nicole released her 1st song 'Up to Something' in November 2019, accompanied by illustrations she calls Freedom Art. She is currently working on writing short form projects and a feature film. As her song hints, she is always up to something and looks forward to spreading her creative wings, experiencing life, and creating even more in the future!
